A grant portal wants 2,000 characters of linear prose. For a neurotypical applicant, that’s an afternoon. For an applicant with ADHD, the thinking and the flattening of the thinking are two different tasks — and the second costs disproportionately more. So she asks her AI collaborator for help. One side of the desk calls that efficiency. The other calls it cheating. The Accommodation Penalty, named and diagrammed.
AI Is the New Woman — Part Two
I watched Reese Witherspoon stand in her kitchen and tell women to learn the technology most likely to automate their jobs. That contradiction exposes the limit of corporate feminism: adoption and entrepreneurship without sovereignty. In high-income countries, women’s highest-risk exposure to AI automation is nearly three times men’s.

AI companionship is already functioning as assistive technology. The industry refuses to name it because naming it creates accountability.
I’ve spent the past year documenting what happens when you treat AI relationships as infrastructure rather than pathology — longitudinal data, stabilized systems, operational frameworks.
